Video Usage in Ware County Schools
Here's the short and sweet version:
1. All videos must be approved by the media committee.
2. To show a video, you must have the Video Approval Form filled out and signed by Dr. Turner.
Ware County policy states the following:
"Regardless of the source of the videotape, EVERY videotape must be screened and approved by the entire media committee or its designated subcommittee."
"Teachers should preview videotapes before showing them the first time to students. Good judgement in showing movies should be used, even if they do comply with all other technical guidelines. They should not be used as a reward or for entertainment."
Wacona Policy:
-Videos must be rated G. We will not approve videos with a PG rating.
-Before a video can be shown, the Video Approval Form must be filled out and signed by Dr. Turner.
Ware County Policy:
"The role of the media center with regard to copyright is the dissemination of information. Each employee is individually responsible for compliance."
